Financial Planning in Singapore — Whole-Person Approach to Wellbeing
Preparing for life’s next chapter.
More than financial planning. A Whole-Person Approach to Financial Wellbeing.
Life is lived in chapters. Some we eagerly anticipate. Others arrive unexpectedly. Whether you’re preparing for retirement, caring for ageing parents, navigating a career transition, or simply wondering if you’re making the right financial decisions, every new chapter brings new questions.
My role isn’t just to help you manage your money. It’s to help you make decisions with clarity, confidence, and hope — so your finances support the life you want to live.

Why This Matters
The biggest questions in life are rarely just financial.
- Am I ready?
- Will I have enough?
- Am I making the right decisions?
- What kind of life do I want after work?
- Who can I trust to guide me?
Preparing for your next chapter is about more than numbers. It’s about making decisions today that support the life you want tomorrow.
My Philosophy
Wealth is only meaningful when it’s aligned with the life you want to live.
Money is important. But money has never been the destination. It is a tool — one that supports your family, your health, your relationships, your purpose, and the life you want to build.
Every financial decision tells a story.
- What you choose to protect.
- What you’re preparing for.
- What you value most.
That’s why I believe financial planning begins long before numbers, investments, or insurance. It begins with understanding you.
A Whole-Person Approach to Financial Wellbeing
Financial wellbeing doesn’t exist in isolation. Our decisions are influenced by our experiences, relationships, beliefs, emotions, responsibilities, and the season of life we’re in.
That’s why our conversations aren’t simply about growing wealth. They’re about understanding what matters most, making intentional decisions, and building a financial life that’s aligned with your values.
Because when life and money move in the same direction, decisions become clearer and the future feels less uncertain.
How We’ll Work Together

Every meaningful financial decision begins with alignment.
- AAnchorWhat matters most to you?We begin by understanding your values, priorities, hopes, and the life you’re working towards.
- LLookWhere are you today?Together we’ll explore your current financial position and the wider picture of your life, so we have clarity before making decisions.

Who I Work With
I primarily work with busy professionals preparing for one of life’s biggest transitions — retirement.
They’ve worked hard to build a successful career and accumulated resources. But they want more than another financial product. They want a trusted partner:
- Someone who listens.
- Someone who asks thoughtful questions.
- Someone who helps them make informed decisions with confidence.
- Someone who will journey with them for the long term.

About
For over 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of journeying alongside individuals and families through life’s important financial decisions.
I’m a Financial Consultant with finexis advisory and a Counsellor-in-Training (Provisional Clinical Member, Singapore Association for Counselling), grounded in Positive Psychology.
Professionally, I hold the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation and remain committed to continual learning so I can better serve my clients through every stage of life.
But titles alone don’t build trust. Relationships do.
That’s why every conversation begins with understanding your story before discussing any financial strategy.

The Conversations We Have
Most people don’t walk in asking for a product. They arrive with a question.
Every person arrives with a different story.
A promotion. Retirement. A new child. Caring for ageing parents. Losing someone you love.
Yet beneath every life transition is often the same question:
“Am I making the right decisions for what’s next?”
That’s where our conversations begin.
Who will I become after retirement?
Retirement changes more than your finances. It changes your routines. Your identity. Your relationships. And sometimes even your sense of purpose. Let’s prepare for the person you’re becoming.
Let’s explore your next chapter →Is my money supporting the life I actually want?
Growth without purpose is just noise. Before we talk about returns, we’ll talk about what you’re building towards.
Let’s explore what you’re growing towards →How do I protect the people I love?
It’s not really about the policy. It’s about knowing that if something happened to you, the people who depend on you wouldn’t be left scrambling. That’s the peace of mind we’re building toward.
Let’s protect what matters most →What story do I want my wealth to tell?
A will decides where your assets go. A legacy reflects what mattered most.
Let’s talk about legacy →Why doesn’t success feel the way I thought it would?
Sometimes the numbers look good, but something still feels missing. That’s usually not a money problem. It’s an alignment problem.
Let’s bring clarity to your money →Who will walk with me through my next chapter?
Financial plans go out of date the moment your life changes. What doesn’t have to change is having someone in your corner — through the next job, the next milestone, the next decision you weren’t expecting.
Let’s journey together →
Not with a recommendation. With a conversation.
The best financial decisions don’t begin with answers. They begin with understanding what matters most.

Questions You May Be Wondering
A few things people ask before we talk.
What happens during our first conversation?
Our first conversation isn’t about recommending products. It’s about getting to know you — your story, what matters most to you, where you are today, and what you’re hoping for in your next chapter. It’s also an opportunity for us to see whether we’re a good fit to work together.
Do I need to know exactly what I need before we meet?
Not at all. Many people reach out because they know they need clarity, but they’re not sure where to begin. Whether you’re preparing for retirement, reviewing your financial plans, or simply wondering if you’re on the right track, we’ll start with a conversation.
How are you different from other financial advisers?
I believe financial decisions are deeply personal. Rather than beginning with products, I begin with understanding your values, goals, life circumstances, and what matters most to you. My Whole-Person Approach to Financial Wellbeing helps ensure your financial decisions support the life you want to live — not just your portfolio.
Who do you typically work with?
I primarily work with busy professionals who are preparing for retirement or another significant life transition. Many have built successful careers and accumulated resources but are looking for a trusted adviser who will partner with them for the long term.
Do you only help with retirement planning?
Retirement is one of the key areas I specialise in because it often represents one of life’s biggest transitions. However, I also help clients navigate other important financial decisions throughout different stages of life, always with the same whole-person approach.
Will you recommend products during the first meeting?
Not usually. The first meeting is focused on understanding your situation and what matters most to you. If we decide to work together, any recommendations will be made thoughtfully and only after understanding your needs, goals, and circumstances.
What does “Whole-Person Financial Wellbeing” mean?
It means recognising that financial decisions don’t happen in isolation. Our values, relationships, emotions, responsibilities, experiences, and life stage all influence how we make decisions. Rather than looking only at numbers, I help clients align their financial decisions with the life they want to live.
Is the discovery conversation complimentary?
Yes. The discovery conversation is complimentary and comes with no obligation. It’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine whether we’re the right fit to work together.
Why do you talk about values before money?
Because money is a tool, not the destination. Every financial decision reflects something deeper — our priorities, responsibilities, hopes, and what we value most. When we’re clear about those things first, financial decisions become more intentional, more meaningful, and more aligned with the life we want to build.
Still have a question?
Sometimes the best way to find clarity is simply to have a conversation. I’d love to hear your story and answer any questions you may have.

Let’s start with a conversation.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Whether you’re preparing for retirement, navigating a life transition, or simply wondering if you’re on the right track, I’d love to hear your story.
Our first conversation isn’t about products. It’s about understanding where you are today, where you’d like to be, and whether I’m the right person to journey alongside you.
